The whistleblowing system 100% compliant with the EU Directive and the GDPR

The Legality Whistleblowing platform is at the forefront of compliance with the complex regulatory framework governing the institution of whistleblowing in Europe. In fact, the software is already fully compliant with the provisions contained in the European Directive 2019/1937 on whistleblowing, which is currently being transposed into the national laws of the 27 member states. At present, the Directive has been transposed only in France, Portugal, Sweden, Denmark, Malta, Cyprus, Latvia, and Lithuania.

Among the critical points of the EU Directive, there is first and foremost the obligation for all companies with more than 50 employees, states, regional administrations, and local authorities with more than 10 thousand inhabitants to equip themselves with an internal, secure IT channel for reporting misconduct.

The whistleblowing platform Legality Whistleblowing is already compliant with the European Directive because:

  • It provides Entities and Companies with an IT channel that fully protects the confidentiality of the whistleblower’s identity

  • Allows for written and voice reporting

  • Provides a reporting channel that is accessible and open not only to employees but also to former employees, trainees, contractors, suppliers, stakeholders, and journalists

  • Automatic alert notifications and deadline calendar support Managers with the management of reports within the timeframe set by the Directive

  • Sensitive data are protected by GDPR

  • SMEs have the opportunity to save money by sharing the platform with other SMEs through a multi-company mode

Legality Whistleblowing helps Entities and Companies effortlessly comply with Whistleblowing regulations
